Energy Star Application Techniques
Spray application of Energy Star heat reflective paints with airless spray equipment.
Spray application of Rustraint to Corroded Fasteners.
1 Coat Required - Oxygen and Moisture Displacing Rust Encapsulant.
Spray application of Astec Rustraint to corroded fasteners. Rustraint has a high coverage rate of between 10 and 15 m2 per litre as such many of the Accredited Applicators use a conventional spray gun with a 1 or 2 litre pot . This is convenient and can provide up to 30 m2 of coverage from 1 fill and avoids the requirement for set up and clean of an airless spray gun.
Rustraint after application to Corroded Fasteners.
1 Coat Required - Oxygen and Moisture Displacing Rust Encapsulant.
Rustraint applied to corroded fasteners and sections of rust below the solar hot water service. The film of Rustraint penetrates the rust, displaces moisture and oxygen and leaves a full gloss film that is impervious to oxygen and moisture that halts future corrosion.
